I quit.

Not really. I am being dramatic.

Every semester I hit the wall. I become a crazy person who works, goes to school and hangs out in the library any time it is open. And I prefer USC Lancaster library to our Everett. The study rooms are always available and it smells like new carpet and it is right down the road.

I have hit that wall...and I am sure next week will be the beginning of my library addiction and everything else that follows. Paper due Thu, Tue, Tue, Thu, Wed. I still haven't begun the Core paper that was due two weeks ago. I am so uninspired...Core just makes me feel angry, guilty and helpless and it's a waste of my time. But that is a different blog.

  1. Several of our group's blogs talk the the Core requirements frustrating them. As a Hayworth student, I'm thankful that we don't have to meet this requirement. I guess since we are already exposed to the "real" world, these classes are considered unnecessary. I admit I didn't know a lot about the Core program so I looked it up on the Queens website, and this except caught my eye, "...educating students so that they may lead noble lives, pursue productive careers, and become responsibly active citizens in a global context." Now, don't you feel better? NOT!! Good Luck.

  2. There's not much better than a good library at the end of a semester. Only one more week!! Isn't that absolutely terrifying?
Oh, and, that Core paper I stayed up all night doing for Thursday... it was unofficially extended until Tuesday, too. Such is life.
Care to burn your Core syllabus with me?
